About the Band

The Trail Pipe Band wears the Royal Stewart tartan which was modelled after the uniform of the Scots Guards. The band plays concerts and performances all over the Kootenays and the Pacific Northwest with a rich history of entertaining community members for over a hundred years.

Our funding comes from fees for performances and from the generous donations of the community.

As has been a long standing band tradition, we offer free bagpipe and drumming lessons to community members of all ages and skill levels.
